The viewer integrated in PathoGate.net has a natural intuitive user interface and provides fast and precise navigation of slides and full screen viewing mode. The viewer supports basic and natural operations with mouse such as; scrolling, panning and stepwise zoom etc. and an integrated navigator that allows for fast navigation to other parts of the slide when in zoomed mode. A Multiview function that displays slides concurrently is accessible when a reference slide has been linked to the image of interest. Creation of Annotations will showcase an Annotation list in top bar of the viewer which makes it possible to jump between Annotations

What makes PathoGate.net viewer unique is the integrated assessment functionality; questions can be assigned to individual images or image collections which is displayed in the top bar of the viewer. Invited course participants or users can then select from a list of answer options and submit their individual answer to the course manager or administrator.

PathoGate.net viewer has another unique integrated functionality; instant casting of content literally turns the viewer into a multi headed microscope and gives the teacher/administrator the option to cast their field of view or annotation to participant/student or the option to cast field of view from participant/student to teacher/administrator
